Hi ! I'm starting a new thread about my mower, but there are still many things to do before to bring power on it, but... as close as I am from this moment, pressure is becoming higher ... .
I've installed an heatsink on Q4.

What I have to do:
- connect the emergency knob to the pcb.
- connections between power and Teensy PCB (done)
- start button installation
- to attache the wiring as best as possible
- to find a small part of grass as test zone, with perimeter cable and charging station installed as provisorium.
- to bring battery power on the power pcb to control the 5V.
- ....
- ....
- ....

Todays pictures included :)

It looks pretty good already.
The mounting of the microswitches also looks stable, does the cover fit over it?
Can you take a picture of the emergency stop from below?
The emergency stop switches I have are too big at the bottom and don't fit.
You can test the blue drivers, but I think you can order the red ones right away. It didn't really work for me.
I'm curious to see if the PowerPCB works for me.

I have now ordered an aluminium blade holder for mine, the plastic thing is just too loud.

You can leave the J34 empty, it's the on-off for the Teensy.

Why did you say that ?
On power PCB : 2 Workarround Q4 heat sink if you want to mow on high grass and use U4 output for mow motor.

On main PCB if you have populate D7 you need to check that you have 5V at the ouput of D7 ,or simply shunt it and never reverse + and - on J25 connector.

JYD motor driver certainly don't work correctly !!!!

For micro switch : Maybe it is better if they are at low position (near grass at limit of chassis) for a most plastic cover flexibility, How cover is fixed on chassis (Screw or movable) ?

Nothing has been tested yet, but I imagined switches mounts who will protect switches on hard contact. Mounts should work as "bumpers" and switches shouldn't be activated harder than they should be.
No problems with the cover fit.

For the emergency stop switch, I have enough place on mine; my batterie use the origine place, and the switch+contact I found just go were he should go. I had to bore a larger hole.

For me, switching off does not work, but that may be due to the capacitor, I have not yet ordered a new one.

With the Mirco switches you have to make sure that there is some air to the housing, the rubber buffers are very soft and the housing always wobbles back and forth when I drive.

@Bernard the body is really loosely fixed with those 4 stands (photo).

@Sascha there's really much place to let the housing wobble. Of course, maybe there's something to adjust; I have to test it and then adjust the 3D print if needed.

I've connected the battery and wanted to measure the 5V output D7, but no power on battery connectors; I think the battery protection element don't send power as long the charge is too low; I put the mower on the charging station.

First Picture is the PowerPCB if i see it right? This is the Power Button to power on the PowerPCB. If you switch on the Mower with the Emergency Button, Mower is still without power. Press the Button for 1-2 sec and the Power should go on.
Second Picture is the Start/Stop/GoHome Button for the Mower.

Yes ! I did it : very nice magic smog on my Teensy... stupid I'm am... I was sure that I had 5V on dc/dc converter because I adjusted it sooner; now I mesured 20V output.... I have now time to install this second button.... stupid... .

Oh i know that Magic smoke.
Only the Teensy was in the PCB?
I had to Change all components in both pcbs

One thing I saw, each time I release the Emergency knob, I have directly power on the 24Vdc/5Vdc converter... it was after... .

OK it's the same for me, the shutdown worked on the lab power supply. On the battery only once, then the powerpcb is always on as soon as you switch on the emergency stop. It works wonderfully for Bernard. I haven't found a solution yet.
Which capacitor do you have on the powerpcb?
I had to change the imu, all the Ina and the Teensy. But I accidentally plugged the battery into the wrong connection.

If you put 20 V on the main PCB instead of 5V :eek::eek::eek:
20V is often on a new DC/DC ,maybe you use the wrong one ?

What you see is very strange ,i never have issue on 3 PowerPCB except the addition of the heat sink and small track on MOW1.
Power ON and OFF always work perfect.
So we need to understand what's the difference ?
